Rare heritage breed Turkeys are our only poultry that we hatch, tho we do have a few guard geese & 2 sdl’s for eggs. We do not hatch chickens, emus, quail etc. We don’t raise birds exclusively for thanksgiving. Nor do we sell processed birds or parts of birds with the exception of feathers.
A hatchery & breeder.

I have no control over your conditions at your place, so no guarantees on birds other than stated here. But past customers will tell you that I will try to make it right if you have problems. It is up to you to know the proper care for your birds. Turkeys are somewhat different than chicken, especially at young ages! Lots of info on internet. Do your research if you're new to turkeys, & I am more than happy to share my experience but not an expert.
USPS shipped birds will have NO guarantees! NO refunds or replacements! And will be done as a last resort only.
All claims for losses may receive refunds or discounts on future purchases at our discretion.
See shipping policy for details.

Shipping options will be changing in 2026. We lost too many babies & dollars thru USPS. Pickup at farm will always be an option.
ALSO, HATCH DATES ARE NOT SHIP DATES, DEPENDS ON CARRIER AVAILBILITY. & RASING THEM A WEEK TO HOPEFULLY INCREASE SURVIAL RATES.
Please note that I am NOT using usps for shipping this year. We may ship express as a last resort. But there will be no guarantee, for birds shipped USPS, for birds or shipping cost. No refunds, its all on you.
I am compiling a list of private carriers that can be used which I will publish in February.
I will try to list ones that I would use but do your own research as I can not vouch for them as I have never used one. One thing I have learned is that to be completely legal, a carrier must be USDA licensed, for pets or livestock, so ask. Some require my NPIP paperwork which I’ll send with birds even if they don’t require it. You should also inquire about their policies concerning deceased birds, & or, missed pickups if you arrange something other than door to door. Orders over 500$ I will arrange shipping, but you must still pay for shipping. Even if I deliver them myself.
Example of how this works. A transporter will advertise a month or so in advance of their planned route, “Hey, gonna be doing a route starting in Fla. thru GA into SC & NC into Tenn, into Ala. back to Fla” & they will show a map. They may pick up & drop off multiple locations tho most just have critters from one location for bio security reasons. The cost will be split among all the customers. A one on one shipment can reach into the hundreds. I wouldn’t drive to Oklahoma from GA & back for 100$ & wouldn’t expect anyone to pay 500 for shipping 100$s worth of birds. There may be a shipper doing an east coast run while at the same time another is doing a midwest route. Splitting the cost is pretty much how this must work if you can’t drive to GA & pick up. But shipping can’t be arranged till I know where the birds need to go. And that is why there is not one set price for shipping, as it will be set by how many customers are on a route. In the meantime, all monies for birds will be held until they are in route to you.
If I have multiple orders in one state I will contact each one of you to see if one wants to act as a pickup service & the others pay that customer for their help. (this would be awesome as it could pay for your birds) If we have a situation where I can hire someone to take care of birds while I’m gone , may even run a route myself. There are multiple transport services doing this every week tho most just do dog & cat. Some specialize in horse & some offer traveling on a plane with the critter. So we should be able to make this work, & if someone has an appropriate vehicle & insurance, there is a money making opportunity.
One thing that I’m not sure on at this time is if you pay the shipper or pay me, then I pay the shipper. At some point I will set up a separate item that you must purchase for shipping if needed.
And remember, pickup at the farm is always available!
